Located in the valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains the capital city of Katmandu has a rich cultural heritage. It is known for its many architectural feats like the Durbar squares, Buddhist Stupas and Hindu temples. The thing it is most synonymous with is being near Mount Everest where hundreds of people go each year to attempt to climb it. Buddhism and Hinduism are the main religions in the Nepali region.
As team members you will be partnering with our national partners to host a leadership conference to equip, encourage, and care for pastors and leaders in the area. You will also spend time praying for and journeying into some the villages in the surrounding areas and learning about the culture as you go.
