Minneapolis, the largest city in Minnesota and part of the Twin Cities with Saint Paul, is known for its beautiful lakes, vibrant neighborhoods, and strong community spirit. Located along the Mississippi River, it combines the charm of nature with the energy of a modern urban center. Originally home to the Dakota and Ojibwe peoples, Minneapolis grew rapidly in the late 1800s as a hub for flour milling and lumber industries. Today, it’s recognized for its diverse culture, thriving arts scene, and dedication to outdoor living, with over 170 parks and 22 lakes within the city limits.

Trip Vision
This team will come alongside Andy and Emily Norris as they prepare to launch their church planting efforts. They will participate in things like prayer walking, learning/studying neighborhoods in the city, potential outreach for the upcoming church plant, exploring the city, and encouraging the Norris family. 

This trip is a Level 101 and great for those looking to participate in a short-term trip for the first time, or who are excited to encourage those working in urban ministry contexts. This trip is offered for adults who are members in good standing at Sojourn Midtown.

Logistics
The team will be flying to Minneapolis and staying in lodging close to the Norris Family. 

The cost of this trip is $1,900, which includes flights, transportation, lodging, food, and travel insurance. Participants will receive training and support to help them fundraise leading up to the trip.
